As many of you know, our family started the Little Lion Challenge in 2013 — a few months after we brought the Little Lion Man home from the hospital. Our way of putting a little kindness back into the world in honor of one strong, funny, curious, and smart little boy.
Our first Little Lion Challenge Day took place in 2014. What is it? Really, it’s a pay it forward day. We ‘make a little roar’ by surprising different organizations and families with acts of kindness each February 11th (our Little Guy’s birthday). We believe that small acts of kindness make a HUGE roar.
So we’re asking for your help. On February 11th, we’re asking Baltimore (and everywhere else!) to make a ROAR. Your act of kindness could be as simple as buying a cup of coffee for the person behind you in line at the coffee shop, surprising the teaching staff at your child’s school with muffins, volunteering for an hour at a soup kitchen, making valentines for a local nursing home… the possibilities are endless.
Do something solo, as a family, or even get a group together.
Then, Facebook, Tweet, Instagram, Blog, Google+, YouTube your kind deed with the hashtag #LittleLionChallenge. That’s it. It’s as simple as that.
